How To: Transfer You Photos From My iPhone to My PC?

It’s easy to transfer photos from an iPhone to your PC. Once stored on your computer, you can view the pictures, print them, or store them for posterity. There are several ways to do this; we’ll explain two of the simplest methods.

Step 1:

Connect your iPhone to the PC using your iPhone’s USB cable.

Step 2:
After the phone connects (you might need to confirm a message that you “trust” your PC), open File Explorer or Windows Explorer, depending upon your version of Windows (and which is, put simply, just any file folder) on your computer.

Step 3:
In the Navigation pane on the left side of the file folder, click Computer. You should see your iPhone appear as a device listed in the Portable Devices section in the folder window.

Step 4:
Double click the icon for your iPhone.

Step 5:
You’ll see another icon for your phone’s internal storage. Double click that.

Step 6:
Finally, you will see your phone’s photo folder, probably labeled DCIM. Double click.

Step 7:
All of your photos are stored in subfolders. You can copy these folders to your computer’s hard drive, or open folders one at a time and only copy the images you want to keep on your PC.
